About me
Technology
I’ve always be attracted by technology. As a kid, I always wanted to put the disc into the CD player or add levels to video games via the in-game editor (I never managed to make a proper custom Age of Empires 3 scenario, alas!).
In secondary school while managing my school’s computer fleet, I started learning Unreal Engine 4 for fun on my parents’ computer: making a game looked fun! I made a weapon system with a lot of spaghetti and duplication (what is even DRY?) using Blueprints, and some kind of Subway Surfer clone.
I stopped as soon as I entered high school it, thinking I wouldn’t have enough time. I was wrong! A few months in, I decided to re-build my orchestra’s website. I followed a crash course on YouTube, understood nothing, and got an end result probably looking worse than the former Drupal version but I was pretty proud!
That thing really got me started, I was just obssessed with it. During the first COVID lockdown, I was trying to make my own version of WordPress with PHP and Ajax, then I made my website using Jekyll, then I learned Nuxt, etc…
I had the opportunity to work on several Open-Source projects during high school (more on that below). That led me to enroll in a Le Wagon bootcamp early 2023 to secure a diploma.
Today I’m lucky to be able to work on Open-Source part-time ( Astro ), and on very interesting projects all the time.
A few projects I’m proud of
I’m also proud of the things I’ve contributed to for work. You can check them out here .
My orchestra’s website
The website that started it all! I used it as my playground all this time, and reworked it for the last time in September 2025. Built with Astro 5, Tailwind CSS 4 and Tina CMS. Check it out (in French).
The yNotes application
In high school, I got to maintain this Open-Source project. Its goal: offer a 3rd party application for French school management systems. The app was built with Flutter and we got to 10k downloads! Repository .
Cooker AI
Le Wagon bootcamp final project could be anything, and we chose to make an AI recommendation website for meals. This was shortly after Chat GPT was made public, so structured output was not a thing yet and it was pretty challenging to consume AI emitted data in code.
Astro projects
I’ve made a few Astro related packages/projects:
- astro-integration-template
- astro-integration-kit
- astro-loading-indicator
- astro-typed-links
- satori-astro
- astro-typed-ids
Music
Apart from coding, I absolute love playing music! I’ve been playing drums for almost 15 years, percussions and bass guitar for 6 years, a little bit of piano.
What I like most is playing with others, which is why I played in several orchestras as well as a rock band.
I’d love to learn the double bass one day.
